Aloha to all my teachers and students of the Go Shin Jitsu Kenpo/Chinese Kempo Kai.
I would also like to extend my Aloha to all my Kenpo/Kempo Brothers and Sisters of our Roots and Branches.

First, I would like to say, that it is not in my character to have to explain about two people that I had the Honor to have known Respected and Loved. I've seen these two Artists at work and play. When they trained, they worked and when they played, they were creating. Always! Finding ways to better their Creativity in the Prof. Kempo. And it's evident in some of the today’s Kenpo/Kempo. My teachers became part of the evolution and Creators of their Kenpo/Kempo, thus becoming Artists.

My teachers taught me not only how to use my hands and feet, they installed in me for the awareness in others of Selfish and Lies. Others will say things to justify their actions. The Prof. (Chow), once said, "Watch out for those who ask", (ranks, degrees). Grandmaster Chun,Sr., once said, "beware of those who use the word promise", (monies,permission). They were both right!

My father had Love and Loyalty towards the Prof.(Chow). I've seen and been in their presence and witnessed both of their giving and stubbornness. It was like watching a father and son arguing. But, they always seem to realize they both had the same feelings, but, different reasons. And, this is being human. Their feelings for each other went beyond the Arts. For instance, it was the year 1979 the first time Prof. Chow had offered the 11th dan,(degrees), to Grandmaster Sr. and my father refused. It was at that point my father told the Prof. that he had love and respect for him and that he doesn't need an 11th. The Prof. replied back and said, "You deserve it and this will protect you". But, this is another story.
There was one thing the Prof. knew, and that was his student wasn't just his student, but, he knew that he was also his true friend. Their relationship was not for "Materialistic or Monetary" reasons.

The Go Shin Jitsu Kenpo/Chinese Kempo Style was presented to Grandmaster Chun,Sr. by Prof. Chow. The Chun Clan and the students will be doing their best to continue the Chow/Chun Style of Kenpo/Kempo. I would like to share this with everyone. "We don't own Kenpo/Kempo, we serve it". When I visited the Prof. I was taught as a young boy and as I grew older there were these 3 words that became a law that I had to follow while in the presence of Professor William K.S. Chow and you who ever reads this, you have my best wishes to use these words, Don't Ask, Don't Cheat and Don't Lie! The meaning is another story. And, with these laws I had to follow, I don't have to waste my time with others that don't have the same training as I did and I had the best of both worlds. Others, who had or were from the same root or branch, had their own reasons why they felt to change. But, that's their story. My story is simple and maybe sometimes boring, but, it has meaning and it's my story. The Prof. and Grandmaster had their stories and their memories and my life and times with them will always be in my heart. Creativity is an Art, so work hard and create in training of our roots and branches of our beloved William K.S. Chow the Kenpo/Kempo Karate aka. Go Shin Jitsu Kenpo Karate/Chinese Kempo Kai, aka. Kara-ho Kempo Karate, Dian Hshue Chinese Kempo and let's not ever forget Great Grandmaster James Mitose of the Kosho-Ryu Kenpo, his Spiritual influence helped Prof. Chow balance his Kempo development from the Physical side. And, again that's another story. The End.
